Meet Maddi- Maddi is a sweet young female fawn mastiff we found cowering in the corner at the shelter. She was growling and barking at everyone when they came by and they all quickly bypassed her. I stopped and squatted down and with a little baby talk and just being quiet and calm she would take a step and then back up and then take a couple more steps to me then she reached out and sniffed my hand and licked my hand then quickly backed up and started barking again. After getting her paperwork done and with the animal control person walked back to get her out of the kennel. We got there and she went right back to the corner and started shaking and peeing. We got the slip lead on her and took her out front to get her rabies shot and then we were outside and she wasn't looking back. She all the sudden was a different dog and tail just a waggin and a VERY happy girl!We will find out more about her in the next week or so and update the website
