Ella Mi Bella was a beautiful girl we rescued from a neglect case in Lancaster CA, out of the 4 dogs on property only Ella and her beautiful daughter were still alive. Ella was blind due to entropian surgery that was needed and not done and her ears were so infected you could only see a pin hole to try to put in meds or clean them. She had 2 non repaired torn ACLS and pretty much a train wreck. We removed her from the shelter on a stetcher and began the long task of getting her as healthy as we were able. Over 2000. later we found her a home that would love her the rest of her life and it was truly AMAZING!  Bella only lived another year in her new home, but I will say she was one of my favorite fosters and she had lived with me for a year and everyone this wonderful girl met fell in love with her. If was horrible what her owner had done, leaving his dogs on a non lived in property to fend for themselves with no food or water in the desert with only rocks to eat so there teeth were almost completely gone.
